Departure at the scheduled time for Valladolid. Brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation, and lunch. In the afternoon, guided tour of Valladolid. We will start at its cathedral (admission included), one of the city’s most representative icons, with its sober and elegant aesthetics. We will stroll through emblematic streets such as Santiago and Cebadería, enjoying their arcades and historic facades. We will arrive at the Plaza Mayor, one of the largest in Spain, the center of local life, with its clock tower and traditional Castilian architecture. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for Peñafiel, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. We’ll visit its emblematic castle (admission included), from whose keep we’ll enjoy unique views of the valley. Inside the castle is the Wine Museum (admission included), where we’ll take a tour of the area’s winemaking history and tradition. We’ll also stroll through its old town, with stops in the Jewish Quarter and the unique Plaza del Coso. We’ll return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll take a guided tour of Medina del Campo. We’ll begin at the Castillo de la Mota (admission included), where we’ll explore its courtyards, underground galleries, archaeological sites, and towers. We’ll continue to the Collegiate Church of San Antolín (admission included) and the Palacio Testamentario (admission included), the place where Isabella the Catholic wrote her will and died. We’ll finish by visiting noble palaces such as the Dueñas Palace. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for Cuéllar, a medieval town nestled among hills and surrounded by pine forests. We’ll stroll through its cobblestone streets, whitewashed houses, and Jewish quarter. We’ll see the town hall in the Plaza Mayor, the Palace of Pedro I, the Chapel of La Magdalena, and the Church of San Esteban. A visit that will immerse us in centuries of history. Lunch at a restaurant. Departure for our hometown. Brief stops en route. Arrival and end of our services.
