Valencia Circuit – City of Arts and Sciences

Departure from the place of origin towards Valencia. Brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation and lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we enter the wonderful Albufera Natural Park, a natural paradise of lagoons, rice fields and migratory birds. We will sail in a traditional boat and visit a typical Valencian barraca, a symbol of the Valencian orchard, where we will also taste a typical regional liqueur. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will take a guided tour of Valencia’s historic center, discovering its Roman and medieval past. We will see the Plaza de la Virgen, the City Hall, the Valencia Cathedral (exterior), the Central Market, the Water Tribunal, and the Barrio del Carmen, amidst narrow streets, palaces, and living history. Lunch will be served at a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the spectacular City of Arts and Sciences (entrance included), designed by Santiago Calatrava. We will explore the Prince Felipe Science Museum, ideal for interacting with science in a fun way, and we will visit the impressive Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe, where habitats from all the planet’s oceans are represented. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
