Departure from the origin to Madrid. Brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel and room allocation. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will take a panoramic bus tour with a local guide to the city’s most emblematic sites: Puerta del Sol, the Statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree, the Cibeles Fountain, Puerta de Alcalá, the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de Oriente. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast. In the morning, guided tour of Madrid of the Habsburgs, home to 17th-century palaces and convents. We will stroll through charming streets and discover places such as the San Miguel Market and the Royal Palace (admission included), with its luxurious halls and valuable suits of armor. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Prado Museum (admission included), an international art gem featuring works by the great European masters. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. In the morning, depart for the Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial with a local guide. We will visit its monastery (admission included), considered the eighth wonder of the world and a World Heritage Site. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, walk through Retiro Park, one of the green lungs of Madrid. We will see the Estanque Grande, the Crystal Palace, the monument to Alfonso XII, and the Paseo de las Estatuas. Free time. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
