Itinerary

Day 1 ORIGIN – LEÓN

Departure by train to León. Arrival and lunch at a restaurant. Guided tour of the city: the Barrio Húmedo, Plaza de San Martín, the exterior of the Cathedral, Calle Ancha, the Guzmanes Palace, and Gaudí’s Casa de los Botines. We will also visit the Basilica of San Isidoro (admission included). Arrival at the hotel, room allocation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2 ASTORGA – PONFERRADA – LAS MÉDULAS

Breakfast. Guided tour of Astorga, including Gaudí’s Episcopal Palace (admission included), the exterior of the Cathedral, and the Plaza Mayor. We continue to Ponferrada to explore its historic center and the Templar castle. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, guided tour of Las Médulas with a stop at the visitor center (admission included) and the archaeological classroom (admission included). Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3 PALENCIA – SAHAGÚN

Breakfast. Visit to Palencia: the Cathedral (exterior), the Plaza Mayor, Calle Mayor, and the Water Museum (admission included). Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Sahagún with its traditional houses and the Church of San Lorenzo. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4 BENAVENTE – ZAMORA – TORO

Breakfast. Visit to Benavente, including the Church of Santa María del Azogue and San Juan del Mercado (admission included). Walk through the Plaza Mayor and the Hospital de la Piedad. Continue to Zamora, with stops at the Church of Santiago del Burgo (admission included), Balborraz Street, and the exterior of the Palacio de los Momos. Lunch at a restaurant. Visit to Toro: Francisco Casas winery (admission included), Chillón Cheese Museum (admission included), and joint tasting. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 5 OVIEDO – GIJÓN

Breakfast. Guided tour of Oviedo with a panoramic view of San Francisco Park, Plaza de América, Campoamor Theater, the historic center, the Cathedral (exterior), and the Church of San Juan el Real (admission included). Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, guided tour of Gijón: a panoramic view of the seafront, the Church of San Pedro (admission included), the fishing district, the birthplace of Jovellanos (admission included), and emblematic spots such as the Paseo de Begoña and the Church of San Lorenzo. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 6 LEÓN – ORIGEN

Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the station to take the return train. Arrival and end of our services.
