Itinerary

Day 1 ORIGIN – LA RIOJA – SAN MILLÁN DE LA COGOLLA (YUSO AND SUSO MONASTERY)

Departure from the point of origin towards La Rioja. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation and lunch. In the afternoon, departure for San Millán de la Cogolla to visit two of the most emblematic monasteries in the region: the Yuso Monastery (entrance included) and the Suso Monastery (entrance included). The latter is famous for its mix of architectural styles, from Visigothic to Romanesque. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 LOGROÑO – HARO – BERONIA WINERY

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will take a guided tour of Logroño, where we will visit the Revellín Walls, the Co-Cathedral of Santa María, and explore the old town, famous for its underground wine cellars. Lunch will be served at a typical restaurant. In the afternoon, we will depart for Haro, known as the wine capital of La Rioja, where we will enjoy a tour of its old town and a visit to the Beronia Winery (admission and tasting included). Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3 NÁJERA – SANTO DOMINGO DE LA CALZADA

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will depart for Nájera, where we will visit the Monastery of Santa María la Real (admission included), which houses the pantheon of the kings of Navarre. We will stroll through its old town, full of medieval flavor. Lunch will be served at the hotel. In the afternoon, guided tour of Santo Domingo de la Calzada, including a tour of the old town and the Santo Domingo de la Calzada Cathedral (admission included), one of the most emblematic sites on the Camino de Santiago. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4 LAGUARDIA – ORIGIN

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, departure for Laguardia, a walled medieval town in the heart of La Rioja. We will stroll through its streets steeped in history and arrive at the Church of Santa María de los Reyes (admission included), famous for its polychrome portico. Afterwards, we will visit the “El Fabulista” winery (admission, tasting, and tapas included), where we will sample typical regional wines. At the indicated time, departure for our destination, with brief stops en route. Arrival and end of our services.
