Guadalajara and Archpriest of Hita Tour

Departure at the scheduled time for Guadalajara, making brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation, and lunch. In the afternoon, we will take a guided tour of Guadalajara, whose historical heritage is marked by the passage of the Dukes of Infantado. We will visit the impressive Palacio del Infantado (admission included), one of the city’s architectural gems, which embodies the power and grandeur of the Mendoza family. We will continue the visit with the Chapel of Luis de Lucena and the Co-Cathedral of Santa María, monuments that will transport us to medieval Guadalajara. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. In the morning, departure for Hita, famous for its association with the Archpriest of Hita, author of “The Book of Good Love.” The city, declared a Site of Cultural Interest, is steeped in history and medieval architecture. We’ll visit the Gothic-Mudejar Church of San Juan and the Sopetrán Monastery, among other monuments. We’ll continue to Jadraque, where El Cid’s castle dominates the landscape. We’ll stroll through its streets lined with noble houses and visit its church and chapel. Lunch will be served at a restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Sigüenza, a medieval city steeped in history, where Sigüenza Castle and the Cathedral stand out as the city’s main icons. We’ll stroll through its fairytale alleys and explore its main square. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Free time in Guadalajara to continue enjoying the city at your own pace. Departure at the scheduled time for the origin. Lunch will be at your own expense. Brief stops will be made en route. Arrival and end of our services.
