Breakfast. In the morning, we will take a guided tour of Pontevedra, a city with a long maritime tradition and one of the most elegant old towns in Galicia. We will stroll through its squares and cobbled streets, visiting the Basilica of Santa María and the Church of the Virgen Peregrina (tickets included), symbols of the city. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, departure for Cambados, considered the capital of Albariño wine. We will visit its charming historic center with stately pazos and squares with a Galician flavor. We will visit a traditional winery where the Albariño production process will be explained, followed by a tasting. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. In the morning, we will depart for Santiago de Compostela. With a local guide, we will tour its old town, declared a World Heritage Site. We will stroll through Plaza del Obradoiro, Plaza de la Quintana, Plaza de Platerías, and Plaza de Azabachería. We will visit the imposing Cathedral of Santiago (admission included), the final resting place of the apostle Saint James. Afterwards, we will taste typical Galician products. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Combarro, one of the most picturesque villages in Galicia. We will stroll through its streets full of seaside granaries, stone crosses, and popular Galician architecture. An ideal place to take photographs and soak up the Galician soul. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for O Grove, known as the seafood capital. We will take a catamaran ride along the Arousa Estuary to see the rafts (floating platforms for farming mussels, oysters, and scallops). On board, we will taste mussels and young wine. Then, we will cross the bridge to La Toja Island to see its shell-covered chapel and natural surroundings. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will follow the Stone and Water Route. We will walk along a path that runs alongside the Armenteira River, admiring old restored mills, stone sculptures, and a natural environment that reflects traditional Galician rural life. Visit to Aldea Labrega, a recreation of a Galician village with stone sculptures. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. In the morning, guided tour of Vigo, a port city with a seafaring spirit. We will stroll through the Old Town, the O Berbés neighborhood, the Collegiate Church of Santa María, and the Mercado da Pedra, famous for its oysters. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, departure for Tui, with its impressive walled cathedral and historical heritage. Continue to A Guarda, where we will visit the Castro de Santa Tecla (entrance included), a Celtic settlement with stunning views of the sea and the Miño River. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
