Departure at the scheduled time from the point of origin towards Galicia. Brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation and lunch. Free time to rest or stroll in the surrounding area. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast. In the morning, we will visit A Coruña with a local guide. We will start at Plaza de María Pita, the nerve center of the city, and stroll through the Old Town, with the Parish of Santiago and its seaside atmosphere. We will continue to the oldest Roman lighthouse in the world still in operation: the Tower of Hercules (admission included). Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit Betanzos, a beautiful medieval town with three original entrance gates to the historic center. We will visit the Plaza de los hermanos García Naveira, the town hall, and the clock tower. We will visit the Gothic-style church of Santa María de Azougue (admission included), and the church of San Francisco (admission included), which stands out for its main altarpiece. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for the emblematic Costa da Morte, a land of extreme beauty and seafaring tradition. Our first stop will be Camariñas, known for its lace and spectacular coastline. We will visit the Cabo Vilán Lighthouse and its museum (admission included), dedicated to shipwrecks and maritime signs. Next, we will visit Muxía, a picturesque town with stunning views of the Atlantic. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will head to Fisterra, considered in ancient times to be the end of the world, where we will contemplate the ocean from its legendary lighthouse. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. In the morning, depart for Ferrol, a city with strong naval ties. We will visit its historic center and the Naval Museum (admission included), with an exceptional anchor exhibition. Afterwards, we will take a boat across the Ferrol estuary to Mugardos (ticket included), enjoying the port scenery. Return to the hotel and lunch. In the afternoon, guided tour of Lugo. We will stroll through its historic center and explore its Roman wall, declared a World Heritage Site. We will admire its cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Town Hall, and its elegant streets. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. In the morning, depart for Santiago de Compostela, one of the most monumental and spiritual cities in Spain. With a local guide, we will visit its old town, declared a World Heritage Site. We’ll walk through the Obradoiro, Quintana, and Platerías squares, and visit the Cathedral of Santiago (admission included), where the remains of the Apostle rest. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a tasting of typical Galician products. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Malpica, where we’ll enjoy free time to explore this coastal town. Optionally, you can visit the Mens Towers, the Church of Santiago de Mens, the Hermitage of San Adrián, and the fishing port. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
