Breakfast. Departure to visit A Coruña. We will start at the Plaza de María Pita and the Old City, passing by the Church of Santiago. We will continue towards the coast to see the Tower of Hercules, the oldest working Roman lighthouse (exterior visit). Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, departure for Betanzos. We will visit its medieval quarter, the Plaza de los Hermanos García Naveira, the clock tower, and visit two Gothic gems: the Church of Santa María de Azougue (admission included) and the Church of San Francisco (admission included). Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for the Ribeira Sacra, a region of canyons and monasteries on the banks of the Sil and Miño rivers. We will begin with a visit to the Monastery of Santo Estevo de Ribas do Sil (admission included), one of the most spectacular monumental complexes in Galicia. We will take a cruise through the Sil Canyons (admission included), where we will learn about their history, landscapes, and winemaking tradition. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will continue to the Monastery of San Pedro de Rocas (admission included), nestled in the mountains and surrounded by nature. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for Ferrol, where we will explore its historic center and visit the Naval Museum (admission included), which houses one of the most important collections of anchors in the world. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, guided tour of Lugo. We will walk along its Roman walls, declared a World Heritage Site, and visit its cathedral, the Town Hall, and other historic buildings. Free time for shopping or strolling. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure to visit Santiago de Compostela with an official guide. Walk through its historic center, Obradoiro, Quintana, and Platerías squares, and free visit to the Cathedral, where the remains of the Apostle St. James rest. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Malpica, a fishing village with the opportunity to see the Mens Towers, the Church of Santiago, and the port. Free time. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
