Itinerary

Day 1 ORIGIN – TARRAGONA

Departure at the scheduled time for Catalonia. Stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation, and lunch. In the afternoon, visit with a local guide to Tarragona, a World Heritage city that preserves impressive Roman remains such as the amphitheater, the hippodrome, and more. We will also visit the majestic Cathedral (admission included), noted for its spectacular cloister and Romanesque sculptures. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2 MONTBLANC – L’ESPLUGA DE FRANCOLÍ – POBLET MONASTERY

Breakfast and departure for Montblanc, a charming medieval town with a historic center that preserves walls, churches, palaces, and streets steeped in history. Continue to L’Espluga de Francolí, surrounded by nature and winemaking tradition. We will visit its Modernist Winery and the Wine Museum (exterior visit). Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the impressive Poblet Monastery (admission included), one of the most important monastic complexes in Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The kings of the Crown of Aragon are buried here. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3 SANTES CREUS MONASTERY – FIGUEROLA DEL CAMP – VALLBONA DE LES MONGES MONASTERY

Breakfast and departure to visit the Santes Creus Monastery (admission included), one of the best examples of Cistercian art in Spain, founded in 1168 and declared a national monument. We continue towards Figuerola del Camp, with its narrow, steep streets and natural surroundings featuring the Mixarda Tower and the Gato burial cave. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Monastery of Santa María de Vallbona de les Monges (admission included), the only female monastery on the Cistercian Route. Its sober beauty and history reflect the important role of women in the Middle Ages. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4 ORIGIN

Breakfast. Departure at the indicated time for the place of origin. Free lunch at the client’s expense. Arrival and end of our services.
