Departure at the scheduled time for Ávila. Brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation, and lunch. In the afternoon, visit with a local guide to this medieval World Heritage city. We will begin at the Basilica of San Vicente, walk along the walls and through the Puerta del Alcázar to the Market Square, with the Church of San Pedro and the controversial sculpture by Rafael Masó. We will see the old town and the exterior of the Cathedral, ending at the Casa de los Deanes (admission included), currently the Provincial Museum. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure for Salamanca with a local guide. We will begin the visit at its impressive Plaza Mayor, to continue to its two cathedrals, the new and the old, with their Romanesque charm. We will also visit the façade of the University, one of the oldest in Europe. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Segovia with a local guide: the majestic Roman Aqueduct, the Alcázar, the Jewish Quarter, the Cathedral, and its spectacular surroundings. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. In the morning, we will discover Valladolid, strolling through the Cathedral, Santiago Street, Cebadería Street, and the Plaza Mayor with its clock tower. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Cuéllar, with its stone houses, Mudejar architecture, Jewish Quarter, and Plaza Mayor. We will pass by the Church of San Esteban, the Palace of Pedro I, and the Chapel of La Magdalena. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure for Burgos. Guided tour: Arch of Santa María, the Cathedral (exterior), Church of San Nicolás, Church of Santa Águeda, Plaza Mayor, and the monument to El Cid Campeador. Lunch at a restaurant. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. In the morning, depart to explore Palencia, with its cathedral known as “the Beautiful Unknown,” the elegant Calle Mayor, and the Plaza Mayor with the Town Hall and the Church of San Francisco. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, free time to enjoy Ávila at your own pace. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for Zamora, a medieval city steeped in history. We will start at the Plaza de la Marina, continue to the Church of Santiago del Burgo, Plaza Zorrilla, and the exterior of the Momos Palace. We’ll walk down the traditional Balborraz Street and end at the imposing Cathedral. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Toro: we’ll visit the Francisco Casas winery (admission included), the Chillón Cheese Museum (admission included), and we’ll do a wine and cheese tasting together. Walk through the historic center. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure to the place of origin with brief stops en route. Lunch at the client’s expense. Arrival and end of our services.
