Itinerary

Day 1 Origin – Santoña – Laredo

Departure at the scheduled time for Cantabria, making brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation, and lunch. In the afternoon, departure for Santoña, one of the oldest fishing villages in Cantabria. Located at the foot of Mount Buciero, we will enjoy a walk through its historic center and visit a cannery (tasting included). Next, in Laredo, we will tour its medieval old town, famous for its historical heritage and 4-km beach. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2 Santander – Santillana del Mar

Breakfast. In the morning, departure to visit Santander. We will begin with a panoramic tour with a local guide, enjoying its spectacular views, beaches such as Sardinero and Camello, and cliffs. We will stroll through the historic center, visiting the Pereda Gardens, the Cathedral, the Post Office and Banco Santander buildings, and the Church of Santísimo Cristo. We will return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we will depart for Santillana del Mar, one of the most beautiful towns in Cantabria. We will stroll through its cobblestone streets, admiring the 14th- to 18th-century houses with flowers on their balconies. We will visit the Barquillo Museum (admission included), where we will learn about the barquillero’s trade. We will also visit the Collegiate Church (admission included). Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3 Potes – Santo Toribio de Liébana – San Vicente de la Barquera

Breakfast. In the morning, we will depart for the Picos de Europa, the most visited national park on the Iberian Peninsula. First, we will visit the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana (admission included), where the largest fragment of the Cross of Christ is preserved. Then we’ll head to Potes, famous for its gastronomy and landscape, where we’ll stroll through its medieval streets. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit San Vicente de la Barquera, a picturesque coastal town known for its castle, walls, and beautiful beaches. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4 San Vicente de la Barquera – Origin

Breakfast. Departure at the indicated time for the origin. Lunch at the client’s expense. Arrival and end of our services.
