Cantabria – Asturias Circuit

Departure at the scheduled time for Cantabria, making brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation, and lunch. In the afternoon, visit Santoña, one of the oldest fishing villages in Cantabria, located at the foot of Mount Buciero. We will stroll through the historic center and visit a typical cannery (tasting included). Next, in Laredo, we will tour the medieval old town and enjoy its 4-km beach. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. In the morning, visit Santander, where we will take a panoramic tour of the city with a local guide, overlooking the beaches of Sardinero and El Camello. We will stroll through the historic center, visiting the Pereda Gardens, the Cathedral, and the Church of Santísimo Cristo. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, depart for Santillana del Mar, a charming medieval village. We will stroll through its cobbled streets, visit the Casa del Águila and the Barquillo Museum (admission included). Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Departure for the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana (admission included), where the largest fragment of the Cross of Christ is preserved. Then, we will visit Potes, capital of the Picos de Europa, famous for its gastronomy and landscapes. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will travel to Llanes, in Asturias, where we will tour its historic center, its fishing port, and the fine sandy beaches. Highlights include the Memory Cubes, an artistic work by Agustín Ibarrola. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Departure with a local guide to visit Oviedo, capital of the Principality of Asturias. We will take a panoramic tour of the city, visiting emblematic places such as the Campoamor Theater and the El Salvador Cathedral. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Villaviciosa, where we will visit the El Gaitero cider factory (entrance and tasting included). Then, we will visit Lastres, a picturesque fishing village with a charming historic center. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Departure for the Picos de Europa National Park, where we will visit the Covadonga Cave, home to the Santina and the remains of King Pelayo. We will climb to the Lakes of Covadonga (admission included), enjoying breathtaking views (ascent subject to weather conditions). Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit the Mining and Industry Museum in Langreo (admission included), where we will learn about the historical process of Asturian mining. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Departure to Cudillero, a picturesque fishing port with its colorful houses on the side of a cliff. We will stroll through its narrow streets, enjoying its unique architecture. Lunch at the hotel. Departure at the indicated time for the origin. Brief stops en route. Arrival and end of our services.
