Plasencia Circuit

Departure at the scheduled time for Extremadura. Brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation, and lunch. In the afternoon, free time to begin exploring Plasencia at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast. In the morning, guided tour of Plasencia. We will begin at the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral (admission included), and then discover the interesting Ethnographic and Textile Museum (admission included), with more than 5,000 pieces. We will continue to Plaza San Nicolás, the church of the same name, the Monroy Palace and the Palace of the Marquis of Mirabel, among many other palaces and stately homes that make this city a historical treasure. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will depart for Hervás, with its beautiful Jewish quarter, cobblestone streets, traditional architecture, and the large chestnut grove that surrounds it. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Departure to retrace the steps of Emperor Charles V. We will begin in Jarandilla de la Vera, where he stayed in the Castle of the Counts of Oropesa. We will visit its main temples and continue to Aldeanueva de la Vera and Cuacos de Yuste, with its Plaza Mayor, church, and fountains. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Monastery of Yuste (admission included), the final residence of Charles V. A place full of history and spirituality. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Breakfast. Panoramic route through the Jerte Valley. We begin at the Tornavacas Pass Lookout, with spectacular views of the surrounding area. We continue to Tornavacas and Jerte, with their chapels, towers, and squares, and end in Cabezuela del Valle, with its charming historic center, declared a Historic-Artistic Site. Lunch at the hotel.
