This 6-day circuit will allow you to explore charming mountain villages, glacial lakes, Romanesque churches, landscapes declared World Heritage Sites, and traditional Andorran hospitality. A journey that combines relaxation, natural beauty, and cultural discoveries at every step.
Departure from the point of origin towards Andorra, making brief stops en route. Arrival at the hotel, room allocation and lunch. In the afternoon, excursion to Pal, considered one of the most beautiful and best-preserved villages in Andorra. We will stroll through its cobbled streets, flanked by stone houses and slate roofs. We will see the exterior of the Church of Sant Climent, a jewel of Andorran Romanesque architecture. If conditions permit, we will climb to the Vallnord ski resort to enjoy unparalleled panoramic views. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we’ll visit the Sanctuary of Meritxell (admission included), the patron saint of Andorra and one of the most important temples on the Marian Route. We’ll continue to Encamp, in the heart of the country, where we’ll stroll through its old town and visit its impressive Church of Santa Eulalia, with the tallest Romanesque tower in Andorra. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, we’ll discover Engolasters Lake, of glacial origin and surrounded by legends and nature. Next, we’ll visit Escaldes-Engordany, a town known for its hot springs and cultural offerings. There, we’ll visit the Art Museum (admission included), located in a historic building built by monks from Montserrat. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Breakfast and departure to explore the French Haute Cerdanya. We will cross Bourg-Madame and Saillagouse, until we reach Mont-Louis, a fortified citadel declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO thanks to its military architecture. We will continue towards Lake Matemale, in Capcir, a spectacular natural enclave, and cross Font-Romeu, famous for its ski resort and alpine surroundings. Lunch at a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit Puigcerdà, the historic capital of the region. We will tour its old town, with stops at the Church of Santo Tomás de Ventajola and the 12th-century bell tower, as well as stroll through Plaza Cabrinetty and its artificial lake. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Today we will explore Andorra la Vella, the highest capital city in Europe. We will visit the Casa de la Vall, the former seat of the Andorran Parliament, where we will see its historic rooms, the Hall of Lost Steps, and the Cabinet of 7 Keys. We will stroll through its historic center and gardens full of sculptures and symbolic elements of the country. Lunch at the hotel. Free afternoon to stroll and enjoy the Andorran atmosphere or shop in its famous duty-free shops. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast. In the morning, departure for Os de Civís, a charming Catalan village accessible only from Andorra, with stone houses and typically Pyrenean cobblestone streets. Afterwards, visit Sant Julià de Lòria, where we will explore the Margineda Bridge and the Church of Sant Serni de Nagol (admission included), with its Romanesque murals and medieval charm. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will explore La Massana, surrounded by nature and a modern atmosphere. We continue to Ordino, one of the most beautiful villages in the Principality. There, we will stroll among manor houses, traditional streets, and monuments such as the Church of Sant Corneli i Sant Cebrià. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
